Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse adds five to its cast

October 6, 2019 by Ricky Church

Paramount’s upcoming Tom Clancy adaptation, which stars Michael B. Jordan (Creed) in the lead role as Navy SEAL and CIA operative John Clark, has added four more to its growing cast.

Deadline revealed the film will now star Luke Mitchell (Blindspot), Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys for Life), Cam Gigandet (Ice), Jack Kesy (12 Strong) and Todd Lasance (Spartacus). The five will play members of Clark’s Navy SEAL team. Alongside Jordan, they join a cast that includes Jamie Bell (Fantastic Four) and Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim).

The film is being directed by Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the Soldado) from a script by Sicario’s Taylor Sheridan. John Clark is a central character in Tom Clancy’s novels. Formerly known as John Kelly, he was a Navy SEAL who got recruited into the CIA and acted as Jack Ryan’s bodyguard. He would eventually go on to lead the international Rainbow Six counter-terrorism unit.

Without Remorse is slated to begin production this year and will also lead into a Rainbow Six movie as Paramount looks to build a franchise around the Tom Clancy-created character.
