Tom Holland “knows everything” about Spider-Man 3 after meetings with Sony and Marvel

February 24, 2020 by Liam Waddington

After weeks of fan concern regarding the future of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony and Disney managed to reach a deal last year to extend Peter Parker’s journey with a third Spider-Man movie releasing in 2021.

Now, in a recent interview with HeyUGuys at the premiere of Pixar’s Onward, Holland revealed he now knows “everything” regarding the new film and surprisingly, didn’t reveal any secrets or spoilers.

“I know everything now. I had my big pitch meeting with Marvel and Sony about two weeks, and I know all the secrets,” Holland said. “But I’ve also done about a thousand interviews, so I know how to not spoil a movie anymore.”

The as-yet-untitled follow-up to Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to start filming in July through to November in locations including Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, and Iceland.

Spider-Man 3 will see Jon Watts returning to the director’s chair with Tom Holland (Peter Parker) and Zendaya (MJ) reprising their roles with a release date set for 16th July 2021. Further details regarding the story and cast are being kept under wraps, however, there has been speculation that the fan-favourite villain Kraven the Hunter could be making a debut appearance on the big screen.
