The developers of nostalgia at Retroware have announced that the highly anticipated beat-’em-up, Toxic Crusaders, will launch on consoles and PC via Steam on 4th December. To celebrate this announcement, a new gameplay trailer has been released (see below), showcasing the mutant-filled chaos that players will encounter…
Taking inspiration from the classic arcade brawlers of the 1990s, Toxic Crusaders will have players defend Tromaville from the nefarious scheming of the evil Dr. Killemoff and his army of Radiation Rangers. Fight these evil doers through a variety of locations, including gyms, junkyards, boutiques, and bathrooms as some of your favourite toxic heroes, such as Toxie, Nozone, Junkyard, Major Disaster, and more.
In classic beat-’em-up fashion, join up with three other friends to clean up the streets of Tromaville and get rid of Dr. Killemoff’s Radiation Rangers. Use one of seven playable characters (Toxie, Nozone, Junkyard, Major Disaster, Headbanger, Yvonne, and Mrs. Junko) to mop up the bad guys using their unique abilities.
With an all-new story that continues the Saturday morning cartoon, players can enjoy pixel-art levels with vibrant backgrounds and action-packed, pun-filled fights.
