Trailer for historical thriller The Convert starring Guy Pearce

Magnet Releasing has shared a poster and trailer for The Convert, the upcoming historical thriller from director Lee Tamahori (One Were Warriors) which stars Guy Pearce as a preacher who finds his faith put to the test after he is caught in the middle of a long-standing battle between two Māori tribes in 19th century New Zealand; take a look here…

Lee Tamahori’s action-filled historical epic stars Guy Pearce as Thomas Munro, a newly arrived preacher in a colonial town in early 19th-century New Zealand who finds himself at the center of a long-standing battle between two Māori tribes.

Joining Guy Pearce in the cast are Tioreore Ngatai-Melbourne, Antonio Te Maioha, Jacqueline McKenzie, and Lawrence Makoare.

The Convert arrives in cinemas and On Demand on July 12th.
