Vertical has shared a poster and trailer for director Thordur Palsson’s upcoming horror-thriller The Damned.
Set in an isolated Icelandic fishing village during a particularly savage winter in the 19th century, Odessa Young stars as Eva, a widow faced with an impossible choice of whether to try and aid the crew of a sinking ship or prioritise the survival of her own crew. Watch the trailer below…
Eva, a 19th-century widow is tasked with making an impossible choice when, in the middle of an especially cruel winter, a ship sinks off the coast of her isolated fishing post. Eva and her crew must choose to either rescue the shipwrecked or survive the winter with their last remaining food.
The Damned is set for release on January 3rd.
