Trailer for Paramount+ psychological thriller series Little Disasters starring Diane Kruger

May 1, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Paramount+ has released a trailer and images for Little Disasters, the psychological thriller series adapted from Sarah Vaughan’s novel of the same name.

Starring Diane Kruger, Jo Joyner, Emily Taaffe, and Shelley Conn, the series follows four mothers who met a decade earlier at an antenatal class as one of the women, an A & E doctor, is faced with a tough decision when one of her friends brings her baby to hospital with an injury she can’t explain.

Little Disasters is a complex psychological thriller with a mystery at its heart. The series centres on the friendship between Jess (Diane Kruger), Liz (Jo Joyner), Mel (Emily Taaffe) and Charlotte (Shelley Conn), four expectant mothers who met ten years prior in an antenatal class. They have since formed lasting friendships and supported each other through motherhood, until now.

The world of seemingly perfect stay-at-home mother Jess begins to unravel when she brings her baby daughter Betsy to the hospital with a head injury she can’t explain. Her close friend and on-duty A&E doctor, Liz, must make the excruciating decision of whether to call social services.

Little Disasters arrives on Paramount+ on May 22nd.
