Peacock debuted the first trailer for its upcoming espionage thriller series The Copenhagen Test at at New York Comic Con on Sunday.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Simu Liu stars as Alexander, an intelligence agent who discovers that his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrator complete access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between the shadowy agency he works for and the mysterious hackers, Alexander continues to act normal until he is able to flush out those responsible.
Joining Liu in the cast are Melissa Barrera, Sinclair Daniel, Brian D’Arcy James, Mark O’Brien, and Kathleen Chalfant. Watch the trailer below…
This espionage thriller series follows first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Simu Liu) who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies.
The Copenhagen Test premieres on December 27th.
