Trailer for psychological thriller The Stranger in My Home

May 30, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its digital release this June, Republic Pictures has shared a trailer, poster and images for director Jeff Fisher’s upcoming thriller The Stranger in My Home.

Based on Adele Parks’ bestselling novel of the same name, the film sees mother and daughter, Ali and Katie, find their picture-perfect life shattered when a stranger with a dangerous obsession shows up at their home claiming to be teenager Katie’s father.

The film stars Sophia Bush, Chris Carmack, Amiah Miller, and Chris Johnson. Check out the trailer below…

Ali and her teenage daughter, Katie, have built a picture-perfect life – until a knock at the door shatters everything. The man outside isn’t just a stranger – he claims to be Katie’s father. What begins as an unsettling encounter soon spirals into a nightmare, unearthing long-buried secrets and turning their once-safe home into a trap of deception, obsession, and deadly consequences.

The Stranger in My Home arrives on digital on June 24th.
