Trolls World Tour gets a new poster and trailer

November 14, 2019 by Gary Collinson

DreamWorks has released a second trailer and a new poster for the animated musical sequel Trolls World Tour, which sees Poppy and company set out on a quest to create harmony among the various Trolls tribes in an effort to save music from the threat of Queen Barb and King Thrash; check them out here…

In an adventure that will take them well beyond what they’ve known before, Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) discover that they are but one of six different Troll tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger and a whole lot louder.

A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom), aided by her father King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne), wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends – Biggie (James Corden), Chenille (Caroline Hjelt), Satin (Aino Jawo), Cooper (Ron Funches) and Guy Diamond (Kunal Nayyar) – set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who’s looking to upstage them all.

Trolls World Tour is set for release on April 17th 2020 and sees Anna Kendrick (Poppy), Justin Timberlake (Branch), James Corden (Biggie), Caroline Hjelt (Chenille), Aino Jawo (Satin), Ron Funches (Cooper), Kunal Nayyar (Guy Diamond), Walt Dohrn (Smidge) reprising their roles alongside newcomers Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Mary J. Blige (The Umbrella Academy), Kelly Clarkson (UglyDolls), Gustavo Dudamel, (The Nutcracker and the Four Realms)  Kenan Thompson (The Grinch), Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey), Chance the Rapper (Slice), Anthony Ramos (Hamilton), Karan Soni (Deadpool 2), Flula Borg (Pitch Perfect 2), J Balvin and George Clinton.
