Halloween arrives for players of Absolver as Devolver Digital and indie developer Sloclap announce that update 1.08 is now available for the PC. This latest update includes a new prestige level system, four new equipment sets, nine new masks and a limited time Halloween event which introduces Halloween themed masks and changes all 1v1 maps to night-time. Update 1.08’s new prestige system will reward players beyond level 60 and includes new sub systems so players can continue to upgrade their Absolver. Crystals will be rewarded for every prestige level and can be used to reset attribute points and acquire Rift Disks. The game’s loot system has also been reworked and now Rift Coins and Rift Disks will replace random loot drops in Combat Trials. These items can be exchanged for better equipment and weapons.
Those of you who love collecting equipment will be pleased to hear that update 1.08 includes four new equipment sets and nine new masks including six new Halloween themed masks owned by the Marked Ones boss characters and available to obtain by fighting them. As well as the Halloween themed masks there is now a night mode for versus maps to add an eerie atmosphere to the game. If you want to play this then be quick as it will only last for the duration of the Halloween period.
