Update 5 arrives for aquatic survival title Raft

July 28, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Axolot Games and developer Redbeet Interactive have released update 5 for their aquatic survival game Raft.  This latest update introduces a host of new blocks for more creative building, a new help centre and a rebalancing of the shark.

In the latest update for Raft a variety of new blocks have been introduced that completely change the way things can be built.  A selection of triangular half foundations, roof sections and floors are now available for players to build a true round light house and much more.  In addition, all building blocks are now able to be placed diagonally.  The update also adds a quick build and paint option that can be turned on and off in the settings.

A new Help Centre has been added to the main menu and in the pause menu.  This new feature will contain lots of articles about issues and how to fix them, as well as answers to more common questions.  It’s also possible to submit a ticket and report any bugs or issues directly to the developers.  An option to leave the game without saving has been added which is useful if a bug is encountered and you don’t wish to save a corrupted world.

Finally, because the developers know how much you all love the shark, the respawn timer has been increased from 100 seconds to 180 seconds.
