Vampire slaying platformer Damsel out now on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch

August 8, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Screwtape Studios’ vampire slaying arcade platformer, Damsel, is now available digitally on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.  This challenging, fast-paced platformer takes players to a dark cartoon world where vampires wait to be slayed and hostages wait to be rescued.  The launch trailer for Damsel can be seen below.

Taking the role of Special Agent Damsel, players will fight through 75 action packed missions spread over 3 episodes as they investigate the vampire owned Red Mist Beverage Corporation after they hear rumours that the secret ingredient is human blood.

Agent Damsel will dash through multiple arenas and use her powerful ultraviolet shotgun, quick reflexes and devastating melee attacks to wipe out vampires, rescue hostages, disarm bombs and more.

Damsel features:

  • Classic arcade action with bite sized gameplay.
  • A dark comic book storyline.
  • Become the top agent in the competitive arcade leaderboards.
  • A ‘Chillout Mode’ that lets you play without dying.
  • Extra challenge modes for those epic slayers wanting more.
  • A gothic synth soundtrack.

Cause distress in this fast-paced, challenging action platformer! Speed through dozens of missions as Special Agent Damsel, the first and last line of defence against the seedy world of corporate vampires.

Damsel is available now on the Microsoft Store and the Nintendo eShop.
