Video Game Review – Ride 2 (Video Review)

October 15, 2016 by Lewy Buck

Lewy Buck Reviews Ride 2…

As someone who has always been interested in motorcycles, motorcycle games have never quite cut it with me. The games that were currently available to us for example the MotoGP series all seemed to…professional. The thought of riding nothing but racing grade motorcycles around an official track seemed linear, tedious and frankly boring. Nothing has really quenched my thirst for digitally riding a motorbike since Road Rash back in the early Nineties. I wanted to race the bikes I saw on the road during my daily commute, the bikes I owned in real life and the bikes I saw shined and polished in shop windows and the games in the Ride series offer just that.

After playing the first Ride and enjoying it immensely, I can safely say I was pretty excited when Ride 2 was announced. Below you can see my full video review of Ride 2 and what it has to offer…

Pros

– Graphics are great, Bike detail is extremely good.

– 170+ Bikes.

– Bikes sound authentic.

– Great sense of achievement when racing.

– Great Customisation.

Cons

– Apart from Bike and music, sounds are a little dull.

– Loading screens are definitely on the long side and are pretty frequent.

Rating: 8.5/10

Ride 2 is available now on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
