Violett Beane reportedly appearing as Jesse Quick in The Flash season 3

August 29, 2016 by Gary Collinson

It looks like The Flash is introducing another speedster in its upcoming third season, with actress Violett Beane reportedly spotted on set in full costume as Jesse Quick.

Beane joined the show in season two as Jesse Wells, the daughter of Harrison Wells. Jesse and Wally West were both hit by a particle accelerator blast in season two, which left Jesse in a coma.

Seeing as Wally will be appearing as Kid Flash in the new season, we can probably assume that the blast has been responsible for giving both characters their new superpowers. However, it’s also possible that these new superhero identities are a result of the altered Flashpoint timeline, and we’ll just have to wait until the third season gets underway to find out how it all plays out.
