Walt Disney Studios has dropped a brand new trailer for their animated musical comedy Wish, and at the same time announced the additional voice cast who’ll be joining Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, and Alan Tudyk.
Directed by Frozen‘s Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, making her feature-film debut, Disney also revealed that Jennifer Kumiyama (The Sessions), Evan Peters (Dahmer), Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows), Niko Vargas (Monkey Wrench), Della Saba (Physical) and Jon Rudnitsky (Home Again) have joined the voice cast. In “Wish,” Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.
Wish opens only in theaters on Nov. 22, 2023.
