Watch Box Office Chaps #1 – US Top 5 (Guardians of the Galaxy, No Good Deed and more!)

Flickering Myth co-editor Oliver Davis and WrestleTalk TV’s Sam Ibrahim discuss the US Box Office Top 5 from the weekend, casting their English eyes across the pond! This week’s movies include No Good Deed (Idris Elba), Guardians of the Galaxy (Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Megan Fox) – but in what order!? Find out below…

Here’s a bit more information on the films discussed at the top of the US Box Office…

No Good Deed centres on a former District Attorney, and mother of 2 young children (Taraji P. Henson, The Karate Kid), kidnapped and terrorized by a handsome but mysterious stranger (Idris Elba), who she lets into her home to wait for help, after his car runs off the road nearby. Sam Miller (Luther) directs, and the film is written by Aimee Lagos (96 Minutes).

Guardians of the Galaxy sees James Gunn (Slither) directing a cast that includes Chris Pratt (The Lego Movie) as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana (Star Trek Into Darkness) as Gamora, Dave Bautista (Riddick) as Drax the Destroyer, Bradley Cooper (American Hustle) as Rocket Raccoon, Vin Diesel (Fast & Furious 6) as Groot, Benicio Del Toro (Sin City) as The Collector, Lee Pace (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) as Ronan the Accuser, Karen Gillan (Doctor Who) as Nebula, Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond) as Korath, John C. Reilly (Step Brothers) as Rhomman Dey,  Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead) as Yondu, Glenn Close (Damages) as Nova Prime Rael and Josh Brolin (Men in Black 3) as Thanos. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles features a cast that includes Megan Fox (Transformers) as April O’Neil, Pete Ploszek (Parks and Recreation) and Johnny Knoxville (Jackass Presents Bad Grandpa) as Leonardo, Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) as Raphael, Jeremy Howard (How the Grinch Stole Christmas) as Donatello, Noel Fisher (Battle Los Angeles) as Michaelangelo, Danny Woodburn (Seinfeld) and Tony Shalhoub (Monk) as Splinter, William Fichtner (The Dark Knight) as Eric Sachs, Will Arnett (The LEGO Movie) as Vernon Fenwick, Whoopi Goldberg (Ghost) as Bernadette Thompson, and K. Todd Freeman (The Dark Knight) as Baxter Stockman.
