Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are set to reteam once again for the parent comedy Daddy’s Home. The two previously worked together in the police detective comedy The Other Guys in 2010.
Ferrell will play a mild-mannered radio executive looking to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children just as their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives on the scene. Red Granite Pictures will co-produce and co-finance the film, which will be directed by Sean Anders (That’s My Boy, Horrible Bosses 2).
There is currently no set release date for the film.
