Will the Joker be in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?

April 29, 2015 by Luke Owen

WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW!

Following the rumours that Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman will feature in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, some new rumours have surfaced about the current filming in Toronto and how it affects Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

According to Latino-Review (who have been very spotty as of late), Affleck is in Toronto to film an extra scene with Jared Leto’s Joker which will be a flashback sequence in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The site claims that the scene they will be shooting sees The Joker use a crowbar to beat Jason Todd/Robin to death, which is why he is in prison during Suicide Squad.

This ties into previous rumours that Jason Todd will already be dead by the time Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice roles around (along with Jim Gordon), as well as other speculation that this version of Batman will have already given up his crime fighting ways until Superman showed up and starting tearing apart Metropolis.

As rumours and speculation for now. So, pinch of salt anyone?
