Willa Holland’s Thea Queen returning for Arrow’s final season

September 19, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Oliver Queen’s sister Thea Queen is set to make a return for Arrow’s upcoming eighth and final season, with Willa Holland reprising her role after leaving the show in season six.

According to TV Line, Holland’s appearance will not just be a simple cameo and she will be a recurring character during the 10-episode farewell of Oliver Queen in the lead up to Crisis on Infinite Earths. Arrow’s showrunner Beth Schwartz is pleased to have this character return to the fold, stating “We are thrilled to have Willa back in our final season.”

Starting out as an original series regular, Holland began appearing less in Arrow during Season Five before leaving the show in Season Six where we saw her and Roy Harper depart Star City to shut down Lazarus Pits around the world.

Arrow’s eighth and final season is set to premiere on Tuesday, October 15th on The CW.
