Indie developer Yendis Entertainment has announced a new Game Maker Competition using their Krunker game engine, and there’s $50,000 up for grabs.  Krunker launched less than three years ago and thanks to its easy to use and fully moddable FPS became a very popular browser game with over 170 million players.

Krunker is fully moddable FPS with a huge user base.  Players can use the game’s editing tool to create their own unique games and it’s even possible for creators to monetise their games with a minimum of effort.  The best thing is it’s so easy to use there’s no programming experience required.  Games created with the Krunker engine are available to play via PC, Mac and mobile platforms.

Yendis Entertainment are offering a total prize pool of $50,000 for the best games produced and submitted via the Krunker gaming platform before 15th June.  The most creative submissions, those who produce something unique and not following the usual trend of infected, parkour or trade maps, will have a better chance of winning one of the following prizes monetary prizes.

1st place – USD $20,000
2nd place – USD $10,000
3rd place – USD $8,000

Plus there are numerous runner-up prizes and awards for innovative game, best graphics and best overall submission.
