Wonder Woman 2 update, Avengers: Infinity War set video, Kirsten Dunst slams Sony and more – Daily News Roundup

WONDER WOMAN 2

With a huge box office opening and critical acclaim, it’s little surprise that Patty Jenkins will be returning for Wonder Woman 2 along with Gal Gadot. Taking to Twitter, Jenkins confirmed that they were trying to get original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter to cameo in the film and that it will take place in modern day America. Read more here.

Speaking of cameos in Wonder Woman, and Justice League director Zack Snyder has revealed his appearance in the movie via social media platform Vero. Read more here.

A NEW TEAM THOR?

Chris Hemsworth has taken to social media to share a behind-the-scenes video from the set of Avengers: Infinity War, where he stumbles upon a “secret Avengers rehearsal”, featuring a table of action figures set up by directors Joe and Anthony Russo – and, much like Captain America: Civil War, the God of Thunder seems to be missing out of the action. FEEL THE GLOW

A new poster landed online yesterday for Netflix series GLOW, which tells the story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Read more here.

MARY JANE SHOOTS

Former Mary-Jane Watson Kirsten Dunst has been very vocal about the Spider-Man movies as of late, but in her latest interview she had some harsh words for sequels and Sony’s treatment of the character. “We made the best ones, so who cares?” Dunst told Marie Curie magazine. “I’m like, ‘You make it all you want’. They’re just milking that cow for money. It’s so obvious. FLASH TURNS A CORNER

And speaking of Spider-Man, a new video titled A Fan’s Guide to Spider-Man: Homecoming landed online which revealed some plot details for characters like Flash Thompson. In an effort to separate Spider-Man: Homecoming from the other Spider-Man adaptations Tom Holland spoke about his regular bully enemy saying, “One of the main differences from the previous movies is that we don’t really have a bully. His main rival is Flash. They have this really funny back-and-forth.” Read more here.
