Team17 and Sony Interactive Entertainment have today announced that Worms Rumble, the latest instalment in the award winning Worms franchise, will be free for Playstation Plus subscribers throughout December. Playstation Plus subscribers will be able to fight for domination in the game’s urban arenas against others on both Playstation and Steam in epic 32 player battles. There’s a brand new trailer (see below) showing all the explosions and shotgun blasts that any worm could hope to see.
Worms Rumble is the very first game in the franchises long running history to include real-time combat and crossplay matchmaking between players on both PC and Playstation consoles. Prepare for frantic 32 player action with a good variety of weapons available to use, including Bazookas, Assault Rifles and the fan-favourite Sheep Launcher and Holy Hand Grenade.
