Another month goes by and another set of free games arrives courtesy of Games with Gold. There’s Norse battles, heavy duty racing, out of this world action and run and gun fun to be had this April with four more games to add to your ever expanding collection of titles.
From the 1st April head to the land of Norse mythology with Vikings: Wolves of Midgard. This Norse action RPG will take players on an adventure through lands where the fiendish creatures of the Fimbulwinter prowl as Viking warriors of a destroyed village. Choose your character, kit them out with suitable weapons and equipment and set out to save the world, and gain a bit of revenge in the process. Take on 4 difficulty levels solo or join a friend for online co-op.
April 16th will bring Xbox One players to the racing tracks with Truck Racing Championship. Jump into the drivers seat of more than 40 vehicles and take part in races on 14 circuits from around the world. Unlike normal racing, take into account weight of the vehicles and the power of their engines as you tackle chicanes and tight corners.
Xbox 360 games available this coming month are Dark Void – take control of Will, a pre-WW2 pilot sucked into a mysteriouos zone called the Void where he must fight hostile aliens to get home, while aiding other human survivors and preventing the aliens from aiding Earth’s Axis powers. Also arriving this April is Hard Corps: Uprising, a side scrolling run & gun game inspired by the classics of old. Both 360 games are also available via backwards compatibility.
