Production is now underway on the seventh entry in the DC Extended Universe, Shazam!, and following yesterday’s glimpse of Zachary Levi in costume as the title character, the actor has now taken to Instagram to tease a possible Batman appearance in the movie…

Now, as Ben Affleck is yet to commit to The Batman, it’s unclear whether we’ll be seeing the Dark Knight making an actual appearance in the film. As Batman-News suggests, perhaps Levi is being literal with his post, and we’ll see Billy Batson or one of his young friends with a Batman action figure?
If rumours are to be believed, Batman won’t be the only Justice League member appearing in Shazam!, as Henry Cavill’s Superman has been strongly linked to the movie, although we’re yet to get any official confirmation on that.

Shazam will see Zachary Levi starring as the titular superhero, with Asher Angel as his young alter-ego Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Grace Fulton as Mary Marvel, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Mark Strong as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana and Ron Cephas Jones as the Wizard. The film is set for release on April 5th 2019.
