Zack Snyder has revealed the biggest pressure he faces re-visiting Justice League

July 22, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Zack Snyder, the director of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, has revealed what the biggest pressure he faces when attempting to re-visit the film.

Now that Zack Snyder has been granted permission to re-do Justice League the way he intended before having to leave the movie, there is a lot of expectation on his shoulders.

Fans have been clamoring for the Snyder Cut for a long time now and so anticipation is certainly high with hopes that the film will be superior to the Joss Whedon version we saw in cinemas.

But what does Snyder think is the biggest pressure facing him with this unique project? Well, speaking to Beyond The Trailer, he said:

“I think really the big pressure on me is just for it [Justice League] to be exactly true to itself. And I know that sounds obvious but we as storytellers and as filmmakers a lot of times there’s a lot of different powers that push and move and change what you’re doing as you’re doing it. But I think with this process and this project, it really is an amazing opportunity just to, and what I think the fans want, is just a very pure and exact version of the movie.”

Essentially, Snyder just wants the film to come out as he originally intended without interference from others. Let’s hope he gets his wish and the next version we see is the actual movie Snyder wanted to release in cinemas.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder and features Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf and Ray Porter as Darkseid.
