Zack Snyder shares first look at zombie movie Army of the Dead

July 21, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Zack Snyder is back behind the camera for his first feature film since 2017’s Justice League, and as production continues on Army of the Dead, the filmmaker has now shared a first-look photo featuring the cast of the zombie heist movie, led by Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista; check it out here…

Army of the Dead takes place in a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, during which a man assembles a group of mercenaries to take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantined zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.

Snyder is directing Army of the Dead from a script by Joby Harold (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword), while the cast includes Dave Bautista (Stuber), Ella Purnell (Sweetbitter), Omari Hardwick (Power), Chris D’Elia (You), Hiroyuki Sanada (Westworld), Raul Castillo (Vida), Nora Arnezeder (Origin), Matthias Schweighöfer (The Manny), Samantha Win (Wonder Woman), Rich Cetrone (Thor) and Garrett Dillahunt (Fear The Walking Dead).

Army of the Dead is expected to hit Netflix at some point in 2020.
