Zombie Army Trilogy coming to Nintendo Switch next year

December 18, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Next year will see Nintendo gamers take on the might of the Führer’s reanimated forces as indie developer Rebellion announce that their hit shooter, Zombie Army Trilogy, will be arriving on the Switch early 2020.

Zombie Army Trilogy takes players back to World War 2, specifically to the time when Hitler’s mighty Third Reich is on the retreat and the allies are liberating the previously conquered lands.  Despite being on the retreat, old Adolf has one last dirty trick up his sleeve and has released a legion of undead super soldiers which he hopes will turn his failure into a victory over the whole of Europe.

Players can go solo or join up to 3 friends in order to take on Hitler’s undead hordes ranging from zombie soldiers and armoured skeletons to demons and manic chainsaw-wielding elites before finally taking on the demonic fuhrer.

The Nintendo Switch edition of the game will include everything previously released on other consoles as well as new features such as 2-4 player local wireless play, motion controls, Pro Controller and HD Rumble support.  The game will also take full advantage of the Switch’s new friend invite system.

Zombie Army Trilogy will arrive on the Nintendo Switch next year.  Xbox One, PS4 and PC gamers can look forward to Zombie Army 4: Dead War arriving on 4th February 2020.
