Indie developer Next Generation Gaming has released a new trailer (see below) for their upcoming survival horror Outbreak Zero. The game, releasing on 12th December, will release on Steam and the Epic Games Store and tell a chilling story filled with haunting visuals and brutal combat.
Outbreak Zero takes players to a city on the brink of chaos as a zombie outbreak erupts on a train, causing people to flee in panic. Taking the role of Max, players will need to survive, uncover the origins of the outbreak, and find a way to stop it.
As Max, explore the dark tunnels and eerily abandoned streets of the city, and face the horrifying enemies, and the creeping madness of a city consumed by terrified panic. Manage limited resources, make every shot count, and engage in brutal melee combat.
Built using Unreal Engine 5, Outbreak Zero will have players exploring atmospheric environments as they seek out clues and cryptic notes as they look for a solution to the zombie epidemic that has swept through the city. Players will solve environmental puzzles and open up new areas to explore that will lead them that little bit closer to the answers that Max seeks.
A terrifying variety of creatures awaits Max as he explores the city, from bloodthirsty zombies to mutated creatures and nightmare-fueled abominations. Fortunately, players will be able to unlock new weapons and equipment as they proceed.
Look out for the Outbreak Zero demo arriving on Steam and Epic Games Store in the near future.
