Oh well thank god……..said no one ever

    • gesoflip

Said a lot of people, actually.

    • Imtotallygesoflip

      Said nobody. Agreed. Ignore gesoflip

  • ThisDude

A non-flying/non-superhuman strength Rogue can be left out entirely. I don’t need her annoying “I don’t like being a mutant” character anymore. Dumb character. Almost as dumb as porcupine face in X3

    • gesoflip

Yeah, we really should remove any X-Men characters from the series that don’t fly or have superhuman strength. Would make a great movie.

    • Jizzumflip

I agree with Dude. Gesoflip dresses up like whiny rogue for Halloween

  • xmen85

That’s the one thing I don’t like about the X-Men films. The directors insist upon creating their own mutants instead of using those mutants that already exist in the X-Men comics. For example Instead of having that dumb guy throwing some weird organic spikes at wolverine in X3 that could have been Omega Red or ANYONE ELSE IN THE COMICS. Makes no sense at all and their own self-created mutants blow. The thunder clapping lesbo too or the pierced chin chick. That entire group trailing around with Magneto in X3. “John Wraith” in X-Men Origins Wolverine??? I don’t recall that character being in the comics. Oh I’m sorry Mr. Will I Am wants to have his own special character……well tell Will I Am that nobody is showing up to that movie to watch him attempt to act.

Agreed. Hollywood execs need to stop allowing pop culture figures such as pop musicians, B level TV personalities and such to be given parts in major motion pictures. It’s cheesy and ruins the entire feel of the movie. Takes me right out of the whole movie experience.

    • Hoofoo

John Wraith was a character.. A quick google search will show you that he was just a minor character

      • Boomer54325

Dumb minor characters. Totally made up
Not sure who Porcupine Face was either.. Gary and Hoofoo I’m sure can google for us all. I’m sure he exists also in some obscure comic and deserves screen time. Maybe cast Mackelmore or some other pop rapper in the next movie just like they did for “John Wraith” DUMB

      Organic spike guy: Spike

      Pierced chin chick: Calypso

      Thunder clapping lesbo: Arclight

      John Wraith: Kestrel

All established characters. Calypso isn’t even a minor character and appears fairly frequently.

          Big time. Shnap.

I think what he really meant to say was they sucked. One Dolph Lundgren Omega Red would indeed have made either or both of those movies at least 1 whole star better. That is 1 whole star divided between them. So from 1 star to 1.5 star(s?).

        • Gary Z

Seeing what they did to the characters they included do you really wanna see how they would have done Omega Red?

          • The Walking Cuban

            I hate when you’re right, Gary Z.

      • Kevin Yaghjian-Tison

        Callisto, not Calypso.

You have to understand that movies are pretty much their own thing. Like there’s MCU, comics and cartoons. In a sense, they’re making movies their own alternate reality to the main one from comics (Earth 616). In MCU Stark makes Ultron (presumably) but in comics it’s Pym. In X films Wolverine goes back, while in comics Kitty does. You have to understand things will never be how the comics are. Newer comics aren’t true to some older comics, so why would movies? So you’re just better off thinking of films as an alternate reality. A lot still the same but definitely differences.

And, of course, it’s only available on Blu-Ray. Figures, can’t get any of the good features on the DVD too, unless they will be releasing this cut on DVD too. Marvel does the same thing with their films, ugh. Forcing you to buy the more-expensive Blu-Ray disc just because all the good special features (aka. deleted scenes & short films) that really doesn’t offer any better a format than DVD’s. No, you cannot try to convince me otherwise because I do own some movies on Blu-Ray and more often than not, they never work in a Blu-Ray player. I end up putting in a DVD disc to watch the movie instead.
