Jessica Lange confirms she will be leaving American Horror Story, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga join Hotel

March 16, 2015 by Alfie Nobes

American Horror Story star Jessica Lange has confirmed she will not be returning after her work on the fourth season of the popular horror anthology show.

Lange who has won a variety of awards for her performances in the series said: “I’m done. We’ve had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I’ve had the opportunity to play, and in all madness, I love the writers and Ryan and the insanity of shooting it.”

This news comes amongst other announcements at the annual PaleyFest confirming cast additions including Golden Globe winner Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga.  Both Bomer and Jackson have previous experience collaborating with the show’s producer Ryan Murphy.

The latest instalment of the horror series, American Horror Story: Hotel is set to appear on screens in October with production beginning at the end of the Summer.
