First episode of Vixen released, Megalyn Echikunwoke would love to reprise the role for live-action

August 26, 2015 by Gary Collinson

CW Seed has released the first episode of Vixen, its animated spin-off to Arrow and The Flash, which you can watch via the official CW Seed site here (assiming you’re in the States).

Meanwhile, speaking to ComicBook, actress Megalyn Echikunwoke has revealed that she’d like to make the jump to The CW’s live-action universe, stating that:

“I think that was kind of the impetus behind hiring me, just to have that option. Of course, we don’t know and I think it’s all based on how well this animated series does and how rabid the fans are for more Vixen. I’d love to play Vixen in live action; I’m into it.”

Vixen sees Megalyn Echikunwoke (The 4400) voicing Mari MacCabe and Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen/Arrow), Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) and Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon) reprising their roles from the live-action shows.
