Paul Feig (Spy) has responded to critics of his upcoming all-female Ghostbusters reboot in a series of comments on Twitter, urging them to “let this movie happen”.
Responding to a critical Twitter user, Feig said that “enough is enough” regarding criticism of the film before anyone has seen any footage.

Feig also noted that the numerous reports of Ghostbusters cameos have been leaks rather than deliberate releases, writing that he “really wanted these cameos to be surprises”.
Feig’s rebooted version of the 1984 classic is due in July 15th 2016, starring Melissa McCarthy (Spy), Leslie Jones (Top Five), Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live) and Kristen Wiig (The Martian) as the spook-fighting team.
