Arrow’s Colton Haynes joins American Horror Story season 7

June 21, 2017 by Ricky Church

Ryan Murphy has revealed another addition to the seventh season of his FX series American Horror Story. Taking to Instagram, Murphy has announced that Colton Haynes, who starred in Arrow, has joined the cast of the anthology series and teased his appearance for the show.

Haynes shared the same picture on his Instagram, adding “American Horror Story season 7… Already feels like home. So exited.”

It is unknown what kind of role he’ll play, but he joins newcomers Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman and AHS veterans Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters for the new season.

As is typical of Murphy, the plot of the season is shrouded in mystery. Murphy has revealed he’s taking inspiration from the 2016 Presidential election in the U.S., and the season will be set in the aftermath of an election with the premiere taking place on Election Night.

American Horror Story has already been renewed for an 8th and 9th season. Murphy, meanwhile, is also working on the next instalments of American Crime Story, which recently flipped its seasons. The Assassination of Gianni Versace is now the second season while Katrina will be its third.
