First look at Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon in Fahrenheit 451

July 20, 2017 by Ricky Church

The first official image from HBO Films’ adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 has been released, showing off its two leads Michael B. Jordan (Creed) and Michael Shannon (Man of Steel). The image features the two in their jobs as ‘firemen’ of the future, burning books that are banned from the public.

The film is directed by 99 Homes‘ Ramin Bahrani, and also stars Sofia Boutella (The Mummy), Lilly Singh (Bad Moms) and Laura Harrier (Spider-Man: Homecoming).

Fahrenheit 451 takes place in a dystopian future where books are outlawed and ‘firemen’ burn any that are found. However, one fireman begins to question his task after learning about a past where people didn’t live in fear, and finds himself having to run for his life as he struggles to regain his humanity.
