Road Redemption arrives on PS4 and Nintendo Switch

November 7, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Tripwire Interactive has announced the release of Road Redemption, their spiritual successor to the beloved classic racing game Road Rash, on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4.  Xbox One players will also be able to enjoy this combination of driving combat and motorcycle mayhem in the near future.  Watch the new launch trailer below…

Road Redemption will see players leading a biker gang on an exciting road raging adventure across the United States.  There’s lots of money to be gained by completing a variety of races, robberies and even assassinations and players can use this money to upgrade their character, motorbike and buy weapons.

Those who like playing solo can enjoy a huge single player campaign but for those who prefer multiplayer, there is full 4-player co-op split-screen and online multiplayer.

The game features:

  • Singleplayer campaign.
  • Online Multiplayer.
  • Local Multiplayer + Co-op.
  • Shared/Splitscreen.
  • Brutal weapons.
  • Deep motorcycle combat system complete with grabs, kicks, counters, critical strikes and more.
  • Rooftop racing and non-stop emergent action.

Lead your motorcycle gang on an epic journey across the country in this driving combat adventure.

Earn money by completing races, assassinations, robberies, and other challenges in your path. As you collect loot, you’ll upgrade your character, your bike, and your weapons.

Driving a motorcycle at 100 mph while trying to hit someone with a pipe is dangerous, and death can come quickly. There are no extra lives nor continues. Fortunately, every time you die, all the experience you’ve collected can be used to upgrade your character, your bike, and your weapons.

In the multiplayer mode, you can work with your friends or fight against them. It’s up to you.

Road Redemption is now available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
