Fear the Walking Dead adds Karen David, Alexa Nisenson as series regulars

March 8, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Deadline has revealed that Karen David (Galavant) has been cast as a series regular in the AMC zombie drama Fear the Walking Dead, while Alexa Nisenson – who plays Charlie – has been upped to a regular after her recurring role in season four.

Details on David’s role are being kept tightly under wraps, aside from the character’s name, Grace. She joins a cast that also includes Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace and Jenna Elfman.

Fear the Walking Dead is a companion series to the main The Walking Dead show, which is currently airing its ninth season and has already been renewed for a tenth, despite ratings slumping to an all-time low.

Season five of Fear the Walking Dead will air later this year, while AMC has recently revealed that it is in the early stages of expanding the Walking Dead universe with a second spinoff show, which will join the previously announced Rick Grimes TV movies starring Andrew Lincoln.
