Lord Drakkon joins Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid

March 2, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Lionsgate Games and nWay have announced that the evil Lord Drakkon will be joining the roster to their upcoming beat ’em up Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid.   A new gameplay trailer showcases Lord Drakkon’s fighting moves as he beats up the other Rangers.  You can watch this new trailer below…

Lord Drakkon is Tommy Oliver from an alternate Earth, on this world he never stopped being an evil overlord even after the spell controlling him had been broken.  With his own world conquered he continues to further his ambitions by looking to other worlds in the Morphin Grid.

With a wide range of attacks to keep his opponents guessing, Lord Drakkon is a high mobility fighter whose combos and attack sequences are very beginner friendly.

Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid will see generations of classic Power Rangers characters and villains fight it out with hard hitting sword attacks, blasters, punches and kicks.  Players will be able to take on their friends and other players around the world in online multiplayer battles and there will be opportunities to participate in online tournaments and missions throughout the year.

Unlike other beat ’em ups, Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid provides a streamlined combat system with simplified controls that makes it easy to pick up and play for newcomers yet contains a depth that makes it a challenge for the seasoned pro.

Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid will be arriving on PC and consoles this April.
