Following on from the release of the latest red band trailer , actress Milla Jovovich has been chatting to IGN about he rrole in the upcoming Hellboy reboot, where she discusses her role as the Blood Queen, and the character’s motivation.
“The Blood Queen is literally the queen of the underworld in a sense,” states Jovovich. “She is the mother of all of these creatures and monsters, she’s been around for millennia… She’s able to throw plague and sickness on people…The Blood Queen fixates on Hellboy as a potential king for balance. The two of them could rule the world.”

Hellboy is back, and he’s on fire. Hellboy is set for release on April 11th 2019 sees Neil Marshall (Game of Thrones) directing Stranger Things star David Harbour in the lead role alongside Ian McShane (American Gods) as Professor Bruttenholm, Sasha Lane (American Honey) as Alice Monaghan, Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) as the Queen of Blood, Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-O) as Major Ben Daimio and Penelope Mitchell (The Vampire Diaries) as Ganeida.
