Marvel Studios kicked off the 2019 superhero season yesterday with the release of Captain Marvel, but we’ll be heading back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe again next month for the hugely-anticipated Avengers: Endgame.
As excitement for the Avengers: Infinity War follow-up continues to build to near-feverish levels, directors Anthony and Joe Russo have announced on Twitter that the movie is almost finished, the brothers having now completed their cut of the film.

With the film locked, all that presumably remains now is to finalise the audio, while Marvel’s various VFX departments will presumably continue to polish the special effects ahead of the film’s roll out at the end of April.

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.
