Doctor Strange sequel titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, will be the MCU’s first “scary movie”

July 21, 2019 by EJ Moreno

Marvel Studios is venturing into “scary movie” territory as director Scott Derrickson is tackling another entry in the Doctor Strange saga. This time, it’s going to be another wild trip as the film is scheduled to be called Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness.

Joining the returning Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme will be Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda/Scarlet Witch, and it’s said that the movie will tie in directly to her Disney+ streaming show WandaVision.

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse Of Madness will hit theaters May 7, 2022.
