Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Topps cards feature the Knights of Ren, Sith Troopers, Resistance heroes and more

As part of yesterday’s Force Friday merchandise release, some new promotional images from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker have arrived online thanks to Topps’ new trading cards, which give us a fresh look at the Knights of Ren and the new Sith Troopers, as well as Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams), Zorii Bliss (Keri Russell), Jannah (Naomi Ackie) and Kaydel Ko Connix (Billie Lourd). Meanwhile, if you’ve been wondering why none of the merchandise for the Knights of Ren include specific names, Lucasfilm’s Pablo Hidalgo has confirmed that the villains do “have individual names but given the long lead times required for toys, the names weren’t finalized in time for that product.”

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set for release on December 19th 2019 in the UK and December 20th 2019 in North America with J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) directing a cast that includes Star Wars veterans Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix), Greg Grunberg (Snap Wexley), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) and Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa) as well as new additions Naomi Ackie (Lady Macbeth), Richard E. Grant (Logan), Dominic Monaghan (Lost), and Keri Russell (The Americans).
