First-look images from workplace comedy Space Force starring Steve Carell

April 8, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Netflix has released a batch of first look images for its upcoming workplace comedy Space Force. Created by The Office duo Steve Carell and Greg Daniels, the series stars Carell as a decorated Air Force general who finds himself put in charge of the United States’ new military branch and tasked with “achieving total space dominance”.

A decorated pilot with dreams of running the Air Force, four-star general Mark R. Naird (Steve Carell) is thrown for a loop when he finds himself tapped to lead the newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces: Space Force. Skeptical but dedicated, Mark uproots his family and moves to a remote base in Colorado where he and a colorful team of scientists and “Spacemen” are tasked by the White House with getting American boots on the moon (again) in a hurry and achieving total space dominance.

Space Force is set to premiere on May 29th and sees Steve Carell starring alongside John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow, Don Lake, and Lisa Kudrow.
