Peter Weller reprises RoboCop role for Mortal Kombat 11 expansion

May 6, 2020 by Andrew Newton

NetherRealm Studios has announced they will be releasing Aftermath, a new expansion for Mortal Kombat 11, on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google Stadia on 26th May.  This all new expansion will feature a cinematic narrative set around trust and deceit and introduce three new characters including the future of law enforcement RoboCop, who is voiced by none other than Peter Weller!

In Aftermath the new keeper of time and protector of Earthrealm, Liu Kang, must enlist the assistance of allies and enemies to prevent a devastating fate for two worlds.

The new expansion will see the fighter roster grow with the addition three new fighters.  These are Fujin, the God of Wind and one of Earthrealm’s protector, the four-armed, half-human and half-dragon queen of the ancient Shokan race, Sheeva, and everyone’s favourite cyborg policeman RoboCop (not the modern child friendly one but the original shoot rapists in the groin version).

Mortal Kombat 11 owners will also be able to enjoy new stages, including the Klassic Dead Pool and Soul Chamber arenas which make their return.  This is accompanied by Stage Fatalities, finishing moves that utilise the environment, and the popular Friendships feature that allows players to defeat their opponent with kindness.

Look out for Aftermath arriving on Mortal Kombat 11 later this month.
