Tachyon anomaly event now live in Marvel’s Avengers

April 24, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have announced the start of Tachyon Anomaly event in Marvel’s Avengers.  First announced a month ago, this event will feature a number of activities and will run until 3rd May.  A new trailer for the event can be seen below…

Thanks to the meddling of time by AIM a number of Tachyon Anomalies keep cropping up that cause convergence of different timelines.  During these anomalies Avengers from other universes can join up and take on threats together, it also allows players to form teams with more than on of the same Avenger and matchmake into teams that contain the same hero.

During the event those who complete a Temporal Assault mission will gain an exclusive animated Temporal Assault Nameplate that can be used on any hero with further rewards including Priority Set pieces for higher level heroes.

Players of level 1-100 will be able to try their hands at the Tachyon Rift missions with a new mission called “And We’re Back” being available.

Daily missions for this event reward Priority Set gear for the Hero you’re playing regardless of Level. Completing the ongoing mission chain will reward 1 piece of gear from the Hivemind set per Hero above PL120. Each Hero below PL120 will get an Epic item instead.

The Marvel’s Avengers Tachyon Anomaly event runs until 3rd May.
