Frontier Foundry announces Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters

June 3, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Frontier Foundry and developer Complex Games have announced Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, a new turn-based, tactical RPG set in Games Workshop’s exciting Warhammer 40,000 universe.  Rather than focus on one of the usual Space Marine Chapters, this upcoming title follows the Chapter most skilled at fighting incursions by the forces of Chaos.  Early images and an announcement teaser trailer can be seen below while a full cinematic trailer can be expected to warp to us this August.

The fight against the forces of Chaos and their corrupted, malevolent, depraved gods has been going on for tens of thousands of years and although the chapters of Space Marines like Ultramarines and Blood Angels do great work at stopping demons, there are none that excel in this task as much as the Grey Knights.  The Grey Knights’ origins are shrouded in mystery and possession of any knowledge of them that hasn’t been sanctioned by the high command is punishable by death.

Throughout this fast-paced, turn-based tactical RPG, players will come to learn more about this secretive brotherhood whose armour is their faith and shield is their devotion.

Players will take the fight to the Ruinous Powers om a brand-new story penned by the acclaimed Black Library author Aaron Dembski-Bowden.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will release on Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2022.
