Owen Wilson channels Bob Ross in new trailer for Paint

March 8, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

IFC Films has shared a new poster and trailer for Paint, the upcoming comedy from writer-director Brit McAdams.

The film stars Owen Wilson as Carl Nargle, a Bob Ross-esque public television painter who finds his whole life threatening to come crumbling down when a younger artist aims to take everything from him. Watch the trailer below…

In PAINT, Owen Wilson portrays Carl Nargle, Vermont’s #1 public television painter who is convinced he has it all: a signature perm, custom van, and fans hanging on his every stroke… until a younger, better artist steals everything (and everyone) Carl loves.

Also featuring in the cast of Paint alongside Owen Wilson are Michaela Watkins, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ciara Renee, Lusia Strus, Stephen Root, and Lucy Freyer.

Paint arrives in cinemas on April 7th.
