Jigsaw returns in Saw X first look

July 21, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Lionsgate has released the first image for the tenth instalment in the Saw franchise, Saw X, featuring returning star Tobin Bell as the Jigsaw Killer John Kramer. Take a look at the first-look photo here…

Set between the first two films in the horror series, it delves into the past of Kramer, telling the story of the most personal chapter in his life. Here’s the official synopsis…

John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most disturbing installment of the Saw franchise yet explores the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between the events of Saw I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.

Saw X sees the return of Tobin Bell and features a cast that also includes Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Joshua Okamoto, Octavio Hinojosa, Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, and Michael Beach.

Saw X is set for release on September 29th.
