About Time actress Lydia Wilson is the latest name to join the cast for the third Star Trek film Star Trek Beyond, reports Variety.
The third film, directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious 3-6) and co-written by star Simon Pegg, reunites the original cast of Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana and Anton Yelchin, with Idris Elba (Luther) on board as the villain, as well as Sofia Boutella (Kingsman: The Secret Service) and Joe Taslim (The Raid). Original director J.J. Abrams produces.
Details of Wilson’s role is being kept secretive, but she joins the cast as filming continues ahead of the film’s release on July 8th, 2016.
