Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile to bring mystery to PC and consoles in 2025

December 17, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Back in 2023, Microids and Microids Studio Lyon released the adaptation of the classic Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express, now they’ve announced they will be releasing Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile in 2025 on PC and console.  Like their first Agatha Christie title, this upcoming adventure and investigation game will enrich the story while maintaining the essence of the literary classic.  A new trailer can be seen below….

Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile finds Hercule Poirot aboard a cruise ship as it sails down the Nile but when a terrible crime occurs it is up to Poirot to investigate.  Meanwhile, another private detective, Jane Royce, is following a murderer on a trail from London to Majorca, through New York and finally to Egypt where she ends up meeting Poirot. However, the story doesn’t end with the book and Christie fans will enjoy the many twists and mysteries in store.

Microids Studio Lyon has added new plots to the story while taking it to the 1970s. Along with this, the level of difficulty has been increased with more complex puzzles and there will be more freedom in progression through the investigation.

Featuring:

  • Play as both Poirot and Royce, each of which have their own storylines and perspectives that come together.
  • An innovative setting of the 1970s (also known as the ugly decade) with colourful characters that bring the plot to life.
  • A brand-new investigation set after the events of the book, bringing fresh surprises to Christie fans.
  • Explore a number of stunning locations from Cairo to London.
  • Gather clues and create connections using a dynamic mind map.
  • Use the evidence gathered to challenge suspects and uncover those who lie.
  • Complete character profiles by collecting information through dialogues and observing.

Look out for Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile coming to PC and consoles in 2025.
