Back in February Daniel Cudmore (X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men: Apocalypse) revealed that the role of Colossus has been recast in the upcoming spin-off movie Deadpool, with a mystery actor then seen on set portraying the character of Piotr Rasputin via motion-capture.
Well, thanks to cast member Gina Carano, we now know who plays the metal-skinned mutant in Deadpool, with the actress revealing via Twitter that Andre Tricoteux (Once Upon a Time, Seventh Son) was the man in the mo-cap suit.

Deadpool has just wrapped filming under director Tim Miller, and sees Ryan Reynolds returning as Deadpool alongside T.J. Miller (Transformers: Age of Extinction) as Weasel, Morena Baccarin (Gotham) as Copycat, Gina Carano (Fast & Furious 6) as Angel Dust, Ed Skrein (Game of Thrones) as Ajax, Andre Tricoteux (Seventh Son) as Colossus and newcomer Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead. The film is set for release on February 12th 2016.
